The Health and Safety of Children at Work regulations was promulgated on 15 January 2010 and subsequently added to the list of existing regulations in the Occupational Health and Safety Act, 85 of 1993.
Too many companies, especially the smaller ones don’t believe that they need to be legally compliant with the law. Section 8 of the Occupational Health and Safety Act stipulate that every employer shall ensure that the workplace is safe and without risk to employees and other people entering your premises.
